Utah voters still mostly approve of how President Donald Trump is handling his duties in the White House, but those who have a negative view of his job performance have ticked up slightly over the last three months.

According to the latest Morning Consult quarterly tracking poll, Trump holds a +13 net approval rating in Utah, with 55% of voters backing his performance while 42% disapprove.

Support for the president has eroded slightly since the first three months of 2025, when he enjoyed a more comfortable +17 net approval rating (56% approve/39% disapprove).

Trump is wildly popular among Utah Republicans who make up a little more than half of registered voters in the state.Meanwhile, Democrats and voters who aren’t affiliated with either major party have a dim view of Trump’s job performance.

Republican enthusiasm for Trump seems to have waned slightly from the first quarter of the year, when those voters gave him a +72 net approval rating.

Trump also gets positive marks for his job performance across every age demographic in the Beehive State.
